Our community investment program, Energy for Life, reflects our genuine commitment to making a difference in the communities in which we live and work. Homelessness is AGL’s core social issue and this focus is reflected across the four initiatives of Energy for Life – Energy Matters, Warmth in Winter, Volunteering and Employee Giving.
And as an energy company committed to encouraging a focus on energy efficiency across the community, we also place a special emphasis on assisting vulnerable Australians to reduce their energy costs.
Complementing Energy for Life is AGL’s approach to community liaison, a process we recognise as vital to engaging the community on new developments and expansions of existing infrastructure. Only by engaging them at every stage of the development process, through transparency, accountability and regular communication and feedback, are we able to deliver our projects. |
